About
Angel and I met in New York City in 2011. We lived in Washington Heights - Uptown Manhattan - where Angel worked as an EMT for FDNY and I was a nanny for four years before hitting the corporate world back up. We were married a few years later (2014) in a Brooklyn Loft that had a bangin' view of the city we love.
In August 2016, we moved to Seattle to be closer to my family before having babies and for Angel to pursue firefighting out here. So far, we're one for two on our dreams coming true. Angel still awaits a firefighting career, while we snuggle the cutest baby - Inez.
This blog is a place for me to take a deep breath and be transparent. In our weird world - filled with really awesome and really horrible people - it's super easy to forget what is real. As a woman, wife, and mother, I've found that I connect with people who are brutally honest about the amazing and heartbreaking parts of all these roles. So I want to be that woman.
And because reading someone's thoughts when you know what they look like is so much more interesting, here's my family:
